ASHLAND, Ky. -
Deputies with the Boyd County Sheriff's Department are looking for a work release escapee. 

Authorities tell 13News Michael Meadows, 24, of Ashland, walked away from his work release job at Methodist church on Carter Avenue Saturday morning. 

Authorities say he walked off between 9:30 and 10 a.m. Officers have received several calls of sightings of Meadows.

Meadows was part of the work release program with the Boyd County Detention Center.
