FLOYD COUNTY -

Employees at one local business are a little shaken after an attempted robbery.

Kentucky State Police in Pikeville are looking for a man they say walked into Family Dollar in the Betsy Lane area of Floyd County, according to a news release.

Troopers say the man walked into the store at 9 a.m. Thursday and demanded the clerk give him cash. The suspect then left the store, on foot, without taking any money.

Troopers say he is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 150 pounds. Troopers believe he has blonde hair. He was wearing a charcoal gray hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and white shoes.

Anyone with information can call the Kentucky State Police at 606-433-7711 or 800-222-5555.
