A woman has been arrested after being accused of trying to extort money from her ex-boyfriend.

According to a criminal complaint, Susan Greiser, of Charleston, had repeatedly harassed and threatened to have the victim, John Eubanks, beat-up or killed. Greiser also threatened to accuse Eubanks of raping her.

Court documents say Greiser showed up at her ex-boyfriend, Eubanks' workplace demanding to see him (as she did so often that Eubanks' superiors had to warn it to stop). After claiming to have given Greiser credit cards, cash, and checks equaling close to $5,000, Eubanks said he'd had enough.

While talking to police, Eubanks revealed that Greiser had also stolen an unregistered hand gun from him back in October of 2012. Police subsequently arrested Eubanks.

Eubanks then proceeded to describe the gun theft incident. Greiser and her half-sister had come to Eubanks' home. While he was getting drinks for them, Greiser took a loaded pistol Eubanks had off his living room book case and pointed it at Eubanks, demanding he "give her his credit card and write out a check" for an undisclosed amount.

Greiser then left the house with the gun. Later that night, Greiser was arrested at the Southridge Wal-Mart for attempting to use Eubanks' credit card by South Charleston Police.

SCPD then confiscated the gun, check, and credit card.

Greiser was arrested on Friday, April 12, and charged with two counts of first-degree armed robbery, wanton endangerment, and extortion.
