Four women have been charged with soliciting in Huntington.

HUNTINGTON -

Officers with the Huntington Police Department arrested four women in connection with prostitution Tuesday, according to a report. 

Samantha E. Canterbury, 34, was arrested in the 300 block of Fourth Avenue. She was charged with soliciting prostitution. This is her third offense. 

Celeste K. Pierce, 34, was also arrested in the 300 block of Fourth Avenue. She was charged with soliciting prostitution. This is her second offense. 

Maria D. Birchfield, 41, was found walking on 10th Street and Seventh Avenue. She was charged with soliciting prostitution. This is her third offense. 

Penny S. Schmelter, 35, was arrested in the 1100 block of Fifth Avenue. She was charged with soliciting prostitution. 

All four women are currently in the Western Regional Jail.
