WARREN, Ohio (AP) - Ninety-seven people are facing federal or state charges in a sweep against drug trafficking and illegal weapons in northeast Ohio.

The charges announced Wednesday by U.S. Attorney Steven Dettelbach targeted people involved in the Warren area in alleged heroin and cocaine dealing and in having and selling firearms illegally.

Fifty-five people are charged in 19 separate federal indictments, and 42 others face state charges.

The alleged drug trafficking pipelines were Detroit to Warren and Columbus to Warren and Dayton.

A total of 155 firearms were seized.
