Barboursville man arrested for stealing $20,000 in jewelry

A Barboursville man is now behind bars because officers say he stole nearly $20,000 in jewelry. 

Benjamin Easter, 22, of Mary Lane Estates, is charged with fraud after officers say he stole a Rolex and two diamond rings. 

State Police were tipped off by a family member and were able to find the watch and one of the rings at a Goldman's Jewelry and Pawn on Route 60 were it was confirm Easter pawned the jewelry. The other ring was pawned at another location. 

Easter is currently in the Western Regional Jail. The incident happened April 20.
