    A judge has found a Charleston attorney "not criminally responsible" for a shooting that happened at his home in 2013.Mark Bramble, 50, was arrested last August and charged with attempted murder and wanton endangerment. The charges have been dismissed.

    A man was shot in the hand during a robbery on Charleston's east end on July 22 at about 10:30 a.m.

Two men were arrested on April 25 by Kentucky State Police after they were seen on Johns Creek Elementary property. 

Officers with the Kentucky State Police received a call about suspicious persons and dispatched Sgt. Keith Justice and Officer Marty Combs to respond.  Sgt. Justice and Officer Combs found the two men walking on Pike County Landfill property.

When approached by the officers, the two men fled.  The officers were able to capture both men.

Jason Benton, 34, from Varney, KY was arrested on one count of criminal trespass.  Jeremiah D. Young, 24, of Phelps, KY was arrested on one count each of criminal trespass, fleeing or evading police, persistent felony offender, menacing, disorderly conduct and an unrelated charge of escape from a February 14 escape from the Pike County Detention Center Work Release.

Both men are being held in the Pike County Detention Center.
