    Nine Martinsburg, West Virginia, residents and another from Keyser were sentenced to federal prison for breaking the law while they were on supervised release or probation.

The Devil and the deep blue sea. A rock and a hard place - those are just a few phrases one could use to describe West Virginia and the Medicaid expansion portion of the Affordable Care Act. 

Governor Earl Ray Tomblin did his due diligence and we certainly respect his decision to move forward, but this was clearly a no-win situation.
Obama care is just in its infancy, but already it's buzzing with complications and unforeseen consequences.

As the federal government wrestles to balance a budget, the fear that our state could be saddled with this expense is real, just as we have begun to pay down mountains of debt from past.  

Governor Tomblin is relying on the promise of the federal government.  Let's pray he is right.
