A Nicholas County man faces a mandatory minimum of ten years in federal prison after pleading guilty on Tuesday to conspiracy to distribute more than 500 grams of a mixture or substance containing methamphetamine.

Brian Craig Crouse, 50, of Nicholas County, pleaded guilty on Tuesday in federal court in Charleston.

Crouse sold methamphetamine and other controlled substances from his house in Belva, from at least January 2011 until he was arrested on January 29, 2013.

During the scheme, Crouse obtained methamphetamine from various suppliers. Crouse sold a total of between 500 grams and 1500 grams of methamphetamine during the distribution scheme.

Crouse is scheduled to be sentenced on August 20, 2013 by United States District Judge John T. Copenhaver, Jr.

The Central West Virginia Drug Task Force conducted the investigation.
