A shooting injured one man in Huntington, WV on May 8.

The shooting took place on the 1800 block of Doulton Ave. about 2:45 p.m.  Police received a report of multiple shots fired and when they arrived on the scene they found a vehicle that had bullet damage.  Police detained numerous people at the scene.

A short time later, a victim arrived at Cabell Huntington Hospital with a single gunshot wound to his leg.  He was identified as Toquan Hayes, 19, of Huntington, WV.

The shooting is still under investigation.  Witness reported seeing a red Pontiac with Ohio license plates leaving the scene.
