VATICAN CITY -

The "baddest band in the land" took their skills and talents out of the hills and valleys of southeast Ohio to Europe.

The Ohio University Marching 110 marching band performed for priests and employees at The Vatican.

The Bobcat's band performed in the view of St. Peter's Basilica, playing hits such as "Gangnam Style" by the Korean pop star Psy.

The band arrived in Rome Thursday and will remain in Italy until Monday, May 13.

The 110, along with their wind symphony, performed in Ireland prior to their arrival in Rome.

The trip was organized to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Ohio University Bands and the 45th anniversary of the Marching 110.
