Dunbar police want two men who took a purse in McDonalds

Posted: Updated:

Dunbar police are looking for help from the public to find two people they say took a woman's purse from an area McDonalds that didn't belong to either man.

Surveillance photos captured the images to the two men, one with a striped shirt and the other with cowboy style hat coming back to the McDonalds to retrieve a woman's purse one told the manager belonged to his mother.

An employee spotted the abandoned purse inside the restaurant on May 5 about 8:45 a.m. and turned it over to the manager.

The suspects took off in a red Chevy Impala.  They are believed, according to police, to frequent areas in Kanawha, Putnam and Cabell Counties.

Anyone with information is asked to call Dunbar Police at 304-766-0204.  Their anonymous tip line is 304-766-0201.
