UPDATE:

Three kittens were rescued during a fire that is considered suspicious.

Flames broke out inside a camper on the 32-hundred block of Bradley Road, just after 4:30 a.m., firefighters said.

The fire spread to the house next door.

Two people were sleeping inside the home at the time.

A woman tells 13 News she smelled smoke and heard firefighters banging on her door.  She ran downstairs to save her kittens before running out of the house, she said.

Firefighters believe the fire is suspicious.  The camper was unplugged when it went up in flames.

The camper is a total loss.  The house suffered minor exterior damage.

Authorities are investigating who might have intentionally set the fire.

The kittens are doing fine.
