Huntington woman accused of charging purchases on family friend's credit

A Huntington woman is facing felony charges after charging items to a family friend's credit card.

Ladonna N. Delaney, 18, was charged Monday for credit card fraud after the victim reported several purchases on her credit card.

According to court documents filed with Cabell County Magistrate Court, the victim was in the hospital when Delaney purchased more than $1,000 at various online retailers, however all charges were denied.

Officers with the Huntington Detachment of the West Virginia State Police say Delaney also wire transferred cash to herself from the victim's account. 

Delaney was taken to Western Regional Jail and is facing up to 10 years in prison. 

Her bail is set at $30,000.
