RANSON, WV -

Dr. Yusuf Khan has joined the West Virginia University Urgent Care team as a family medicine physician. He is also a member of the medical staff at Jefferson Medical Center, formerly Jefferson Memorial Hospital.

Khan, a board-certified family medicine physician, relocated to the Eastern Panhandle from Charleston, where he had practiced since 2006. 

Khan is a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Charleston Area Medical Center's WVU Family Practice in 2005. Khan completed a fellowship in emergency medicine in 2006.

In addition to providing patient care services in Ranson, Khan will help to train resident physicians and medical students as an assistant professor for the WVU School of Medicine's eastern division.
