UPDATE:

Names have been released in a fatal accident that happened on I-64 about 9:45 a.m. near Milton, WV.

Katrina Godbey, 20, of Nitro was traveling east on I-64 when she hit a deer.  Hitting the deer caused her vehicle to break-down and her car came to a stop in the slow lane of I-64.

Joshua McComas, Godbey's fiancé and passenger, helped her from the car and put her on the side of the road.  McComas then went back to turn on the car's emergency lights.

At that time, Christine Grimes, 37, of Poca was traveling on I-64 east and hit Godbey's vehicle.  McComas and Godbey were both struck by vehicles during the second crash.  McComas suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.  Godbey was pronounced dead on the way to the hospital.

Grimes was trapped in her vehicle and had to be cut out, but didn't suffer serious injuries.
