    A long-time West Virginia State University associate professor and former Yellow Jacket football coach has been inducted into his high school's sports hall of fame.

PARKERSBURG, WV -

Attorney Ryan J. Kent has joined the Parkersburg office of Bowles Rice. He will serve as associate, practicing in the areas of energy, oil and natural gas, real estate and tax.

Kent earned his law degree from West Virginia University, where he was a member of Moot Court Board and recipient of the CALI Award for pre-trial litigation. 

He earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from Ohio State University in 2008. Prior to joining Bowles Rice, he served as a legal intern with Mountain State Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Two other Bowles Rice associates have been admitted to practice in West Virginia: Cole M. Bozic and J. Breton McNab.

Both Bozic, of Bowles Rice's Morgantown office, and McNab, of the Parkersburg office, practice with a focus in energy law and oil and gas law. 

Bowles Rice has more than 135 attorneys in five offices in West Virginia (Charleston, Martinsburg, Morgantown, Moundsville and Parkersburg) as well as Southpointe, Pa., Lexington, Ky. and Winchester, Va.
