Homeless veteran makes flowers and jewelry for support

If you are driving through the streets of Barboursville, or Route 60, you might see a familiar face on the road.

David Norton says he rides his bike every day pulling all his belongings behind him.

Norton says he's a Navy veteran who likes living on the road and helping people in his community.

Norton says he makes flowers and necklaces for people to buy for a couple of dollars so he can be self-sufficient.

He says he even made a bouquet and gave them to a woman who could not leave her home.

Norton says he lives on the road because he doesn't want to sign any contracts for apartments and lives from place to place.

After his picture went viral on social media, he says people are buying his flowers faster than he can make them.
