The Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Monongalia have begun accepting nominations for the 2013-2014 version of their program.

The chamber has operated Leadership Monongalia for the past 16 years to be a public affairs and leadership development program.

The program looks for a diverse group of leaders to use their talents and abilities to spread energy, enthusiasm and vitality throughout the county.

Graduates include current and past members of Morgantown City Council, leadership of West Virginia University, state legislators and individuals who serve in several other elected, management and volunteer capacities.

Self-nominations are accepted, and all nominations are due Aug. 1, 2013.
