The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce will host its annual EPA Region III fly-in June 25, allowing members to engage in conversations with the U.S. EPA in person.

The annual event was started by the West Virginia Chamber more than 30 years ago, and it allows members to speak directly with the regional EPA director about their concerns for safe and clean environmental policies that do not eliminate West Virginia jobs unnecessarily.

According to the chamber, this year's event will have record attendance.

The West Virginia Chamber also will host "A Taste of West Virginia" from 5-7 p.m. in the Hart Senate Office Building at the U.S. Capitol while members are in town.

The event will showcase several West Virginia food, dessert and drink products as part of the celebration of West Virginia's 150th birthday.
