A water main broke in Saint Albans on Wednesday evening, shutting down at least one lane of traffic for a while.
It happened just after 6 p.m. on Pennsylvania Avenue between Snow Lane and Drumheller Drive.
According to Kanawha County emergency responders, one lane of Pennsylvania Avenue was closed while water crews worked on the six-inch line.
The city has $2 million it's going to use to replace several water lines in Saint Albans according to the mayor.
Most of the water lines are more than 90 years old.
