A Russell, Kentucky woman is missing and police think she may be in danger.

Russell Police say Mary Dixon, 40, of Russell was last seen Wednesday around 10:30 at the Subway store on Dietrich Boulevard.

Police say she is a worker there and was closing the store according to employees who last  saw her before she went missing.

Her car was found on the parking lot where she works.

Dixon is 5'3" and weighs about 145 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say family members say it is very unlikely for her to not come home after work because she takes care of her handicapped son.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Russell Police department at 606-836-3822 or greenup county dispatch at 606-473-1411.
