Charleston Police investigating 2 shots fired incidents

Charleston police are investigating two shots fired incidents within the past 12 hours.

The first one happened on the 100 block of Maryland Avenue Wednesday night.  Witnesses said they saw a man get out of a white Chevy Trailblazer, license plate 6TK704.

The woman driving the car shot at him after he got out of the car, police said.

Police found multiple shell casings at the scene.

The man was seen running in between houses and has not been found.  Police have checked area hospitals and there have not been any gunshot patients, they said.

Police are also investigating a separate shots fired incident on the 1300 block of Grant Street.

It happened around 3 a.m. Thursday morning.

When police arrive on scene, there was a large crowd standing outside.  People were not being cooperative, police said.

Police found one shell casing at the scene.
