Gun discovered in Charleston woman's pants after traffic stop

A traffic stop on Interstate 77 by the Greenbrier Street exit led to the discovery of a convicted felon in possession of two guns early Tuesday morning. 

The arrest happened about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. 

Charleston police pulled over Danny Delaney and Tammy Holman, both from Charleston.  While pulling the vehicle over, police noticed Holman putting something down her pants.

A search of Holman led to the discovery of a gun in her pants.  That gun came back as stolen.

A canine hit on the passenger side of the car, the search of the car led police to find another gun.

Police said Delaney is a registered felon.  

Both were transported to South Central Regional Jail.  

Holman was charged with carrying a concealed weapon without a license and transferring and receiving stolen property less than $1,000.
