    The Ohio Department of Health and the West Virginia Department of Health are encouraging patients of a McMechen pain management clinic to talk with their primary care physician about testing for some infectious diseases following an investigation of the facility by the West Virginia Bureau for Public Health.

A Lawrence County man pleaded guilty Friday to child pornography charges.

Attorney General Jack Conway announced Thomas Meade, 51, of Blaine, in a guilty plea and sentencing of possession and distribution of child pornography.

Meade pled guilty on one count of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

Meade was indicted in December 2012 following in investigation by Attorney General Conway's Cybercrimes Unit which found more than 100 child pornographic images and videos on Meade's computer.

According to Conway's press release, Circuit Judge John Preston followed the Commonwealth's recommendation and sentenced Meade to five years in prison.
