LOGAN -

A new state office building in downtown Logan has inspired a sense of hope for some business owners in the area.

The Cole Street Café opened just in time for people to start moving in to the offices.

The owner of the sandwich shop, David Crouch, said he isn't even from the area but has done business in the area for about three year. He said he saw an opportunity.

Other business have added services to cater to the lunch crowd as well.

Putzy's Pizza opened just a few months ago in Mud Fork.

The owner Paul Vinson said they have also seen a spike in lunch orders since the office building opened.

Both men said they are hopeful that the building and the opportunity to generate business, will help revitalize downtown.
