The Scioto County Sheriff's Office has arrested two people in connection with a crime spree.

Sheriff Marty Donini issued a news release on Wednesday stating that his office received several calls about thefts from residents in Stout and Wheelersburg this month. Homes and cars were broken into and purses, wallets, credit cards, gift cards, money, phones and computers were stolen.

A tip led deputies to a house on Bennett School House Road in Minford. When deputies searched the home they found several stolen items, including some items stolen from vehicles in Kentucky.

Anthony Huff, 31, of Otway, is charged with four counts of felony burglary and two counts of misdemeanor theft. He is being held without bond.

Melissa Keating, 31, of Ironton, is charged with one count of felony obstructing justice. She is being held on a $5000 bond.

More charges are expected and more suspects are expected to be arrested.
