After nearly 20 years in the Elm Grove area, HGO Technology is relocating its Wheeling office to the downtown area effective July 22.

"In doing so, we will be supporting our growing downtown community, be closer to important resources, and continue to support our growth. Most importantly, we will continue to provide the care our clients expect, just in a more vibrant environment," Liz Gates, special projects executive, said in a news release.

"Our new office location will increase our visibility in the Wheeling market. We are ready to grow now at a faster pace and downtown is going to help us get there. This is part of the larger evolution of our company."

HGO was established in Wheeling in 1986. Two recent acquisitions have allowed the firm to grow to now include offices in Pittsburgh and Charleston, with a total of 25 employees.

The first of these deals was with Terradon Communications Group, a web design and software development company based in Charleston.

In April of this year, HGO also merged with ContactPointe, a firm of IT consulting professionals specializing in managed IT services and training with offices in Pittsburgh and Charleston.

"Our vision is to be a world-class strategic and tactical IT consulting business serving clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Midwestern markets," Gates said.  "We are excited about the opportunities our growth brings to our clients and employees."
