HUNTINGTON, WV -

Two people were arrested Tuesday night after suspicious drug activity was noticed by police.

Officers with the Huntington Police Department stopped Alvester L. Thomas II, of Detroit M.I., after they observed suspicious drug activity from him driving a burgundy Nissan with temporary tags.

Officers found marijuana, narcotics, $1,150 and three cell phones in Thomas' possession, according to court documents.  The Huntington Violent Crime and Drug Task Force then conducted a search of a Third Avenue home where Kristen M. Graley lived.

Officers found a large sum of heroin and cash in the home. Thomas and Graley were taken to Western Regional Jail facing up to 15 years in prison. Thomas and Graley's bails are set for more than $100,000 each.
