UPDATE:

Investigators tell 13 News 8th Avenue between Hal Greer Blvd and 17th Street will be shut down until later this morning, following a fatal shooting.

Huntington Police Chief Skip Holbrook said the victim was found shot to death in the grass outside of Poppy's Bar and Grill around 1 a.m.

Holbrook said they believe the victim and individuals involved were inside the bar prior to the shooting.

This is the second deadly bar shooting in Huntington within the past month.  However, police said they have not had any particular issues with Poppy's since it opened in 2012.

The bar owners are being extremely helpful and cooperative, Holbrook said.

Detectives have tentatively identified the body but said they are in the process of notifying family members.

No arrests have been made yet.
