The oil and gas experts at Jackson Kelly PLLC want anyone who might be affected by the new Illinois Hydraulic Fracturing Regulatory Act to understand it.

The firm is hosting a 90-minute webinar at noon Central Standard Time July 31 to outline key components of the new law and also to answer questions.

Proponents of the legislation have said it could lead to an economic boom in Illinois and the surrounding region, according to information from Jackson Kelly, and commentators have said the act is the most comprehensive and significant regulation measure for hydraulic fracturing in the nation.

Chad Sullivan of Jackson Kelly will moderate the webinar, and scheduled presenters include: Brad Richards, executive vice president of the Illinois Oil and Gas Association; Russell Retherford, with Basin Field Services Inc.; and William C. Illingworth of Jackson Kelly.
