Multiple arrests made during separate traffic stops

The Ohio State Highway Patrol arrested four people in two separate traffic stops Friday.

The first stop took place along US 23 near Lucasville in Scioto County, Ohio approximately 6:45 PM when troopers stopped a 2012 Ford Escape on a moving violation, when troopers observed criminal concealing they conducted a search of the vehicle. Upon questioning of the suspects, the passenger advised them he was concealing heroin. Troopers then found 15 grams of black heroin with a street value of $2,250.

Troopers arrested Calvin Spencer and William Clevenger and charged them with a felony second degree possession of heroin.

The second traffic stopped happened about Two hours later on US 23 near Lucasville on a moving violation. When troopers approached the vehicle they detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

During a search trooper found Two small packages of marijuana on the passenger, and also found a bag containing approximately a pound and a half of marijuana in the vehicle.
