RIDGELEY, QV (AP) — Ridgeley's Town Council is preparing to vote on whether to limit the number of video lottery machines in the town.

A proposed ordinance would cap the number of machines at 35. There are currently 30 machines operating in Ridgeley.

The Cumberland Times-News reports that the council is scheduled to vote on the ordinance on Tuesday.

The proposed cap follows opposition by residents and Town Council members to a proposed tavern that plans to have five video lottery machines.
