KENOVA, WV -

UPDATE:  They found them!  Brady Hesson and Kaleb Thomas Effington were in the baseball dugout, one of the boys wanted to run away but didn't tell the other one until he needed to call home to check in. Being the best friend that he is, he didn't want to leave his friend alone in the dark.  So he used the buddy system and stayed with his friend.  They were found just before 5AM this morning.

The Kenova Department of Public Safety is working on two missing child reports in Kenova, West Virginia.

The Kenova Police Department is looking for Brady Hesson. Authorities say he is 13 years old, stands 5'4" and weighs 121 lbs with blond hair, and blue eyes.  He was last seen wearing a black/dark blue shorts and possibly a red shirt.

Kaleb Thomas Effington is 12 years old, stands 4'9" and weighs 80 lbs with brown hair/skater cut and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing checker shorts, a cream shirt, and black and red "Vans" shoes.

Both were last seen in Kenova around 5:45 p.m. Friday.  Police said Brady asked if he could spend the night at Kaleb's house. Family saw Kaleb get on the school bus Friday to go to school and neither made it to Kaleb's house after school.

The Brady's mother send us this message, "We are out searching the area right now, currently checking out all the fishing spots and areas he (Brady) would be...he asked if he could go stay the night with Kaleb, I told him to ask his dad, we decided he could go. Then about an hour later Kaleb's dad came by looking for Kaleb, we haven't seen the boys since 5:45 this evening."

Police thought that, 'they may have gone to a girl's house, or to a party or fishing.' Brady's mother says different, "that's just not how Brady is."

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of these two children are asked to contact the Kenova Department of Public Safety at 304-453-5555.
