SCIOTO COUNTY, OH -

Two people were arrested for theft at a privately owned deer camp in Scioto County, OH after being caught on camera.

On August 23, 2013 an adult and juvenile entered the camp at State Road 335 and stole $2,000 worth of property.  The owner of the camp installed deer cameras. The quality of the recording allowed investigators to see the entire theft on camera and to capture video of the vehicle driven by one of the suspects.

Cooper was charged with breaking and entering and theft, and has been arraigned and had a pre-hearing in Portsmouth Municipal Court and waved charges to the Grand Jury. The juvenile will be processed through Juvenile Court.
