MILTON, WV -

Firefighters battled a blaze in Milton, WV over the weekend with the help of some real life heroes. According to witnesses, two men, dressed at Batman and Captain America rescued a cat from inside the home. They didn't do it alone.  However, they were not alone in rescuing the feline. They had the help of a group that calls themselves Bikers Against Child Abuse.

The cat that was rescued had to be resuscitated after being pulled from the burning home. But both men were more than happy to help with that as well. The men who dress up as Batman and Captain America actually own a business called Real Life Heroes and just happened to be in the area that day.

According to fire crews, the house is considered a total loss. The American Red Cross has been notified to assist the family that lived in the home.
