Trailers and tools stolen from college, non-profit, businesses

David Lusk, the owner of Apple Valley Sanitation in Hager Hill, KY, has video of two men who cut open his garage door and stole several tools.

Investigators say these men may be responsible for similar crimes over the last week in Paintsville and Hager Hill.

At Big Sandy Community and Technical College's Hager Hill campus, an entire trailer was stolen.

"They cut the fence down and backed the truck right up to it, I guess," says Neil Farley, a senior at Big Sandy, who hopes to be a diesel mechanic.

The trailer had items that could have been scrapped but they were also items that were very valuable to students and their education.

Other sites have been targeted as well. Ben Tires, Martin Peterbilt and the Christian Appalachian Project were all hit.

"They don't care about a charitable organization, or a school," says Lusk.

The stolen items could be scrapped or sold for a few hundred dollars but was worth much more to the owners.

Video from three of the incidents has been sent to an FBI lab for enhancement with the hopes of identifying the suspects.
