AT&T Kentucky President Hood Harris visited the company's East Park Call Center on Thursday to announce another 140 new customer service representative and customer support specialist positions to be filled before the end of 2013. AT&T has already filled 195 new jobs at the East Park Call Center so far in 2013, according to a news release from the company. "These new jobs demonstrate our commitment to providing top-notch service to our customers nationwide, as well as good jobs in Eastern Kentucky," said Hood Harris, president of AT&T Kentucky. "In addition to bringing good jobs to the region, we will continue working with state legislators to update telecommunications laws to encourage even more investment in advanced wireless and broadband technology across Eastern Kentucky."

AT&T has more than 7,000 employees and retirees in Kentucky. As one of the Commonwealth's largest private employers, the company invested more than $650 million in its wireless and wireline networks from 2010-2012. In the first half of 2013, AT&T invested more than $110 million in its Kentucky network.

Once on board, new hires at AT&T go through an extensive seven-week training program. Additional information on AT&T's job openings in Kentucky can be found at
