The Kentucky State Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing man out of South Shore, KY.

According to a release from the Kentucky State Police, Gerald L. Boyles, 75, has been missing since 9:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13.  He was last seen in the area of 44 5th Street in South Shore, KY.

Police say that Boyles is believed to have left his house on foot.  Family members say Boyles has wandered away from the house before. In the past, neighbors have spotted him walking along the side of the road.

"As far as I know, he just got up and left from the side of the house. We don't know what made him leave, but he just disappeared on us," said David Logan, a family member.

Logan says Boyles suffers from Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
