    Felman Production and the United Steelworkers of America have reached agreement on contract modifications for workers at the company's silicomanganese plant in New Haven, Chief Executive Officer Mordechai "Motti" Korf said.

The West Virginia Business & Industry Council recently elected officers for its board of directors.

New officers are Chris Hamilton, vice-president of the West Virginia Coal Association, chair; Joe Letnaunchyn, CEO, of the West Virginia Hospital Association, first vice chairman; Mike Clowser, executive director of the Contractors Association of West Virginia, second, vice chairman; and Sam Minardi, President, Minardi Public Affairs, secretary-treasurer.

The West Virginia Business & Industry Council is composed of more than 50 West Virginia trade associations and businesses. It represents more than 250,000 employees, across 26 industry categories. Its goal is to enhance the business climate in West Virginia.
