POINT PLEASANT, WV -
An amazing family reunion we first told you about two weeks ago was celebrated in a bigger fashion today.  The reunion involves two women who were separated 20 years ago.  They were reunited after realizing they both worked for Gino's Pizza.

One is an aunt who had been searching for her niece for two decades.  The other, a woman who was just a child when she was adopted.  Two weeks ago, Mary Smith and Alisha Jones met for the first time since that day.  Mary looked over at Alisha at the Gino's location in Sissonville, where she was filling in that day, and said she just knew Alisha was her niece.  Alisha was adopted out of her birth family when she was six because of legal issues.

After that very impromptu mini-reunion, they said the best thing to do was to have an even bigger one.  Gino's Pizza, this time in Point Pleasant, was their obvious choice of venue.  Point Pleasant is where the rest of the biological family lives.  Alisha said the best part of the day for her was walking in those front doors, and seeing her grandmother's face for the first time in 20 years.

"I recognized her and went up to her and gave her a big old hug.  We were crying.  It was emotional," Alisha said.  Alisha's grandmother has kept photos of her on the wall all this time.

This family now has closure, all after a series of coincidences that they said were just meant to happen.

"Most people are lucky to have one family that cares about them," Alisha said.  "I have three.  I have my birth family, my adopted family, and my Gino's family.  It's just more than one person can ask for."

After two decades, they all said it's time to do some catching up.  Mary and Alisha both said they're excited to move forward and get to know each other even better.
