HUNTINGTON, WV -

Marshall University lost in triple overtime to Virginia Tech this past weekend and now sit 2-2 on the season.

As the Herd enter their bye week Garrett Scott, Clint Van Horn and Monterius Lovett speak on what the team needs to work on during their week off.  Marshall will be back on the field Oct. 5 as they open Conference USA play hosting the University of Texas at San Antonio at 2 p.m.  That is also homecoming weekend at Marshall University.

Prior to the beginning of the season, the Conference USA picked the Thundering Herd football program to finish second in the East Division.

UTSA is picked to finish last in the West Division.
