Jackson County, OH -

Horrific new details have been released in a child abduction case in Jackson County, Ohio.

At a hearing on Friday, Zachary Dunn was arraigned on new charges including kidnapping, abduction, rape, gross sexual imposition, and felonious assault.

He pleaded not guilty.

A Jackson County Grand Jury indicted him on Thursday.

Dunn is accused of snatching the little girl from her home in Liberty Township in July. She was found 14 hours after she went missing; naked, bruised and crying more than six miles from her house.

Dunn faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole if he's convicted of these crimes

The victim's family did not attend the hearing. However, Dunn's family did.

His older brother, Eric, spoke to 13 News on his behalf. While Eric does not condone what his brother is accused of doing, he wants to wait until all of the evidence comes out before making a decision.

"May God help him if he did it, and may God help him if he didn't," he said.

Dunn asked the judge to lower his bond from $500,000. The judge denied his request.

In newly released documents, prosecutors call Dunn a sexually violent predator, something that's difficult for his family to accept.

"I don't think anybody is going to be convinced if it's their brother. We'll see when the evidence comes back and how it all turns out," Eric said.

Dunn was taken back to jail after the hearing. He could go to trial on or before Oct. 27, unless his defense requests a continuance.

After the victim was rescued, she was placed in foster care, along with her other siblings. No one in her family has been charged with any wrongdoing.
