Willow Wood, OH -

As Symmes Valley High School prepares for their homecoming weekend, there will be a little different wrinkle to this year's game.

Traditionally, the school has had their football field painted pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

At Friday's game, in addition to a pink field, part of the field will be orange to honor freshman cheerleader, Ashley Dennison.

Dennison is undergoing chemotherapy treatments once a week at a hospital in Cincinnati.

Besides parts of the field being painted orange, the cheerleaders made a banner for Dennison, orange bracelets are worn, and speciality orange T-shirts supporting Dennison will be worn.

Prior to the homecoming game, the elementary school will host a spaghetti dinner and silent auction beginning at 5 p.m.
