Willow Wood, OH -

It's been a difficult year for freshman cheerleader Ashley Dennison and family, but her support system is widespread. As Ashley has missed a lot of school due her chemotherapy treatments, the school has tried to ease some of her stress.

Her teammates have stepped up and done their part, rather its keeping Ashley's spirits up or making and selling things to support her, they're by her side.

It's not just students and staff helping out, local businesses like Hog Heaven have been pitching in as well. Co-owners Josh Saunders and his wife give ten percent of their profits on home games to the Dennison family.

And the family couldn't be more thankful.

"It's surprising how many people out there have been helping, and I just like to thank the community and everything," said Ashley's mother, Melissa.
