    A tractor trailer is blocking part of Route 2. The road is closed until further notice. Drivers heading in both direction are being asked to use the Big Ben Bowen Highway connector by Target to get around.

HUNTINGTON, West Virginia -

Kelley Green painted 5th Avenue in Huntington Saturday morning.

Thousands of people lined the streets for the annual Marshall University Homecoming parade.
 
Students, alumnus and bands hit the pavement to celebrate the Herd's milestone.

Nearly a dozen floats participated in Saturday's parade with the theme of Mardi Gras. 

Marshall played University Texas San Antonio at the Joan C. Edwards Stadium in Huntington.

The Herd welcomed a new, classical Marco mascot, prior to the homecoming game against UTSA.

The new costume picked by Marshall fans and alumnus via website, back in the spring.

The retired Marco mascot costume was unveiled back in 2008.

Marco first appeared in the 1954 Marshall College yearbook after being created by two Marshall students who graduated that year.
