UPDATE:

A snapped power pole may be the source of power outages in Kanawha County, WV.

AEP says they are working through the night to repair it.  AEP says they anticipate having power restored by 8:03 a.m. Monday morning to roughly 2800 customers who were without it Sunday night.

AEP says they will need to move customers to other grids as part of the restoration effort.

However, if a customer is moved to an alternate power grid, they may experience another outage on Monday sometime in the midday or afternoon.  AEP will be moving those customers back to the original grid once all repairs are complete.

According to AEP, crews are working through the night to restore power to more than 2000 customers in the Belle area of Kanawha County who are without power.
