    Nine Martinsburg, West Virginia, residents and another from Keyser were sentenced to federal prison for breaking the law while they were on supervised release or probation.

The Monongalia County Commission finalized the agreement between the county and West Virginia University dealing with the construction of the new baseball stadium.

The field will primarily be used for baseball, but will also be a community center with the possibility of concerts and other venues.

Site clearing is already underway with a groundbreaking scheduled for October 17.

"As to ownership, management, how we will work together to make this a community stadium, a community complex as well as meet the needs of WVU, Fairmont State, the Minor League," said Commissioner Eldon Callen.

Commissioners also said that renovations to turn the old post office into a county courthouse annex is on schedule and should begin later this year.
