A suspect in a missing person case in Charleston, WV waived her right to a preliminary hearing Thursday. Kelsey Legg's case now moves to the circuit court where a grand jury will decide whether or not to indict her.

Legg is charged with first degree murder and kidnapping in the death of Kareem Hunter. Deputies allege Legg lured Hunter to a Marmet apartment where two men put a bag over his head, killed him, and then put his body in the trunk of a car.

Hunter's family and friends packed the courtroom hoping to hear the suspect speak at the hearing, but they were disappointed.

"I think she has every piece to the puzzle, and I'd just wish she'd say something," said Tammie Tanner, a cousin of the victim.

Authorities haven't uncovered Hunter's body. The family says they are trying to remain optimistic, hoping to find him alive.

"All I know is many days have passed by. Each day that goes by makes it harder and harder to find him," said Linda Hunter, the victim's mother.

Deputies say they are continuing to search for a man seen with Legg after the murder. He is considered a person of interest in the case.
