WINFIELD, WV -

An investigation is under way in Putnam County after a man's stolen credit card has been used on numerous occasions. A man said his wallet was stolen in Huntington, W.Va., in May 2013. In the past two weeks, investigators say his credit card has been used in Huntington and in the Teays Valley area.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Department is investigating. It released surveillance video of one of the reported incidents. It shows two men who deputies have described as suspects in the case.

Putnam County Sheriff Steve Deweese offered advice for what others should do if a credit card is stolen. "Go through all of your statements, notify all your credit companies and banks to cancel all those immediately," said Deweese.

Anyone with information about the stolen credit card case is asked to contact the Putnam Sheriff's Department at 304-586-0256.
